Fashion review: Alexander Mcqueen's "Plato's Atlantis" 2010 fashion show.

With the direction of Nick Knight and support from IMG and SHOW studio. Streamed Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2010, 'Plato's Atlantis' show. Live from Paris, the full-length fashion show was presented alongside an exclusive interview with the designer himself and the presentation's unique opening film by Alexander McQueen, Nick Knight and Ruth Hogben. "...because, I feel like the show's as good as far as I could." as said by the designer on an exclusive interview with Nick Knight. Also the designer stated: "Fashion is a very small world especially to professional parts of the world and you know I never thought of myself as an elitist designer who is, I've never seen, who's just kinda productive so I pity myself. Pitying myself, it's such a small miring now, because it doesn't make a designer move forward...". On an interview with Nick by BoF fashion pioneers Nick said that he and Lee (Alexander McQueen) wanted to work on a live show for ages and for a long time. He pesched on doing the live show on the internet and eventually it made sense to Lee and wanted to do it.

Backstage with Hairstylist, Guido Palau: "I had lot a meetings with Alexander McQueen and, you know, he was very inspired by lots of different things, from like alien movies to art new foe and it's about Darwin and this sort of like morphing from human to creature all this are something. What ends up with the hair is like couture almost like, you know, it's very detailed, very intricate. Probably not very wearable but something's that for fantasy to inspire people.". Make-up artist, Peter Phillips gave some introduction about the make-up variety. The make-up artist said that it's some sort of evolution and then it was like a story of a ship sinking like a Titanic and then evolved into water creatures, alien bizarre. The short film opening McQueen's Spring/Summer 2010 show was a collaborative work created by the designer himself, Alexander McQueen, Nick Knight and Ruth Hogben. Raquel Zimmerman was featured on their campaign image which was made by Nick Knight for Alexander McQueen, Spring/Summer 2011. Even though Nick said that Lady Gaga,  on his opinion, was a massive strike and brought the bloody thing down but yes it made it into an event where people sort of paired to it. To my point of view, this has to be one of the greatest shows in McQueen history. McQueen is one of the designers being looked up to and God in fashion. The show was actually a bang and it received a lot of good feedback's from people watching it over the internet and for people who were there live watching it.
